Assorted Western Breakfast 2

Assorted Western Breakfast 2
To some, it is fattening but to some, it is delicious.
How? Just dig in and then worry about it later...he he he.
Cook this for our breakfast especially my son before he rush to his
weekend class.  Yeap! what a boring life for him cause he has been
attending weekend classes since last six months ago.  This is his 2nd
year Bachelor of LLB.  Told him that if he passed this 2nd year,
we will ship him to UK for his final year.
I had two of the above and till now, I am still full (will be skipping
my lunch), if not, my belly will be become larger by the inch.

Some Sausages / Some Butter / Some Sausage Buns
Few slices of Cheddar Cheese

Heat up the pan with cooking oil or butter and pan fry the sausages
until cook.  Once done, keep at one side.

Split the buns into half and butter both side.

With the same pan, pan fry the sausage buns for 1 or 2 minutes.

Look like this.

Keep the cooked sausages and buns at one side.

Fry the Hash Brown until done.  Once done, keep at one side.

Take one sausage bun and spread with tomato ketchup
or chilli sauce, then put in one sausage and some slices of cheddar cheese.
Close it and then dig in together with the crispy hash brown.
My son and husband spread their buns with the Kraft Easy Cheese Cheddar spread.
Fattening, Fattening but Simply Delicious.

Ginseng Drink

Ginseng Drink
Need to post as many recipes as possible before middle of next week because
we'll be going to Hatyai, Thailand for a short holiday.
My husband manage to secure 4 flight seats with "zero fare",
how lucky we are.  My two kids said, "Hatyai" again!
Told them we are going there to makan (eat) and rest only since
the flight is "zero fare".

Sharing this simple herbal "Ginseng" drink with you.
My age is catching up to late 40's and I have some bad experience
while having my menstrual.  For the past few months,
I notice that during my menstrual, I feel my pelvic area is very uncomfortable.
My husband told me to drink more Ginseng since his friend from
Canada bought a lot for us.  I have been boiling this drink
every alternate day for the past two weeks and I can assure you that it works.
There is no uncomfortable feeling during my this month menstrual.
So, you gals out there, if you are having the same problem like me,
do boil it for yourself.

6 pieces of Ginseng.

Wash and soak with hot water for 1 minute.

Place the Ginseng into a double boiler and pour in 1 liter of hot water.

Turn the switch to High and boil for 4 hours and
then turn to Low and boil for another 2 hours.

Note : If you wanted to boil it overnight, then
just turn the switch to Low and boil till next day.

Once done, let it cool before drinking.
I even brought the Ginseng Drink to office to drink (if I boil it overnight).

My family and I also drinking it.
Healthy herbal drink.

This recipe adapted from Martha Stewart.

180g Salted Peanuts / 420g Caster Sugar
Little bit of Cooking Oil / Little bit of Butter / 1/2 cup Water

With the melted butter and brush the lined baking paper.

Note : Next try, I will omit the baking paper because it still stick to the
baking paper eventhough I have brushed with melted butter.

With a heavy base saucepan, pour in the caster sugar and water.
Boil over high fire without stirring.

Look like this after 1 minute. (Do not stir)

Look like this after 3 minutes. (Do not stir)

Once you noticed it is beginning to brown, then you start to keep
on stirring until it is golden (about 3 more minutes).

Once it is golden amber in colour, turn off the fire.

Pour in the salted peanuts and stir until well coated.

Pour the mixture into the buttered baking paper.
Quickly spread with an oil spatula.
Let it cool and then break the brittle into pieces.

While breaking the brittle, myself already starting to eat.
My husband is the peanut lover also can't stop himself from taking.
